The following warranty is applicable to all Aqavive products and is in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

Should your product develop any malfunction within 1 year of the date of purchase to faulty materials or manufacture we will replace it free of charge.

You are expected to follow our instructions for the use, installation and maintenance of the product. Your warranty does not cover damage or faults arising from use contrary to these instructions, normal wear and tear, negligent handling or misuse*. Similarly your warranty does not:

  • cover freight or any other costs incurred in making a claim; or
  • extend beyond 6 months if the product is used in commercial applications.

The benefits given to you by this Warranty are in addition to your other rights and remedies under any laws which relate to the product. In Australia our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other foreseeable loss or damage.  You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

International: The benefits given to the purchaser, under this Warranty, are in addition to all other statutory rights and remedies which the purchaser has in respect of goods under legislation in the applicable country of purchase. This Warranty shall not affect any such rights and should be read subject to such legislation.

Should you experience any difficulties with your product during the warranty period, please:

  • contact us by email with a scanned copy of the proof of purchase (receipt) and details of your claim at sales@aquaplenish.com; or
  • lodge your claim and proof of purchase (receipt) with the product at the place of purchase.

Upon receipt of your claim, Aqavive will seek to resolve your difficulties or, if the product is defective, advise you on how to obtain a replacement (which may involve return of the product for testing).

Where claims on inspection reveal that the product is in normal working order, including where noise or vibration is consistent with normal operation, we are entitled to seek reimbursement of all reasonable costs incurred.

Should your product develop faults after the warranty period, contact us by email and explain the circumstances for assessment under statutory guarantees.

Misuse Exclusions

*Where permitted by local law, the warranty does not cover damage or faults due to:

  • damage incurred whilst installing, transporting or moving the product
  • accidental breakage
  • attempted repairs or modifications by unauthorised persons
  • failure to carry out regular maintenance including to clean and remove particulates from the filter
  • failure to utilize the gravel vacuum filter attachment when using the gravel boost function
  • liquid spillage, overfilling and overflow including to the surrounding environment
  • inappropriate selection and placement of secondary container
  • failure to adequately secure the product to the secondary container (clamp provided)
  • installation faults including poor hose attachment
  • tripping over exposed hoses
  • insufficient liquid to enable the product to perform
  • incorrect water temperature caused by third party aquarium heaters or manual addition of hot water and any resulting damage to aquarium inhabitants
  • the introduction of hazardous liquids including any resulting damage to aquarium inhabitants
  • mains voltage fluctuation or supply problems or Acts of God
  • connection to any voltage other than what is stated on the rating plate
  • modification or tampering to electrical cord or plug
  • vermin, insects or foreign objects
  • total submersion of the product
